The main gate of No.63 Kissho-ji

On the main gate of Kichijo-ji, it is written that it is the only temple in Shikoku 88 sacred temples with the main image of Bishamonten. It is also interesting that there are two elephants in front of the gate.

Inside the main temple

The temple is the only one among 88 temples which enshrines Bishamon-ten (Vaisravana)

Fulfillment stone – Try to put your kongo-zue into the hole while walking from the main temple with your eyes closed

A little more than 10 meters away from the main temple, there is a stone with a hole in it. It is said that if you walk from the main temple with your eyes closed, thinking about your wish, and put your pilgrim’s stick through the hole in the stone, your wish will come true.

I could manage to do it 🙂

There was no one else there, so I opened my eyes and practiced before I tried ;). I was able to do it successfully, wishing for the health of the whole family.
