Day 26: No.62 Houjyu-ji (宝寿寺)

The main temple and Taishi-do of No.62 Houjyu-ji

Houjyu-ji is located near Iyo Komatsu station and is very small temple. When I was about to start reciting the sutra, I found a note describing that the Nokyo-jyo is open 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, which made me think that someone had complained at Ido-ji. There was nothing particularly wrong with their service honestly, and I was sent off with a kind words “Good luck on your pilgrimage.

Eleven-faced Kannon-Bosatsu

What I found interesting was the soft expression of the eleven-faced Kannon-Bosatsu (Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara).

Many stone sign posts at one place 🙂
