Day 24: The Seapa MAKOTO (シーパMAKOTO)

There’re islands

On the way to the Seapa MAKOTO, I walked along the seaside for the first time in a while. The scent of the tide seemed stronger than in Kochi, which was interesting for me. I could see big island on the other side of he sea and wondered if it could be Kyushu. But when I looked at the map later, it looked like islands on the border with Yamaguchi prefecture. Aha, yes, it’s way too close 🙂

It’s first time ever to see such vivid rainbow

There’s a semi-open onsen bath in the room with the ocean view

At the Seapa MAKOTO, they offered a special plan for walking pilgrims including dinner & breakfast for 5950 JPY. It was pretty cheap, so I expected everything would be so so. However, I was surprised when I entered the room. The room faced the ocean and had a semi-open-air bath, and it was a hot spring! I could also freely use the large bath next to the room.

And of course, I went to the large bath. The open-air bath with a view of the sea was very pleasant. The hot spring water was salty, probably because it was near the sea. But this kind of hot spring warms the body very well. My right leg was hurting a lot today, so I hoped to get rid of the pain by relaxing in the hot spring.

The hot meal for the breakfast would be served from 7:00 a.m. But if you want to leave earlier, then they kindly prepare boxed breakfast.
